mala as sacred adornment
The mala is a tool for meditation, a way to keep our minds focused on the repetition and resonance of a mantra. The mala, as I have come to relate to it, can also be a form of sacred adornment. Wearing a mala as protective earth energy, we are reminded of our sacred nature, as a unique and extraordinary embodiment of Divinity Herself.
My one-of-a-kind malas ~ for sacred adornment ~ are lovingly crafted with washed and blessed, genuine semi-precious stones that are then woven with sacred mantra + intention and finished with recycled sari silk tassels.
spring 2019 collection: the armor of the goddess
This collection is inspired by my soul sister, Michelle, a powerful yogini masquerading as a middle school math teacher, mother and wife. Out on the battlefield of modern life, we must remain anchored in the Truth – that we are the light, the joy, and the power we seek. This is the knowingness to cultivate, as it protects us from our inner and outer enemies.
Each of the 108-bead malas in this collection is infused with the Durga Saptashati, or the 700 verses of Durga and features protection and amplification for the energy of mind ~ mantra ~ prana shakti.
